Masterclass students

Elsie Lin is a young and passionate pianist who has achieved top honors in numerous international music competitions across Europe and North America. She has won multiple First Prizes, including prestigious events in Vienna, Amsterdam, San Francisco, and Canada, as well as top placements in renowned competitions such as WPTA Spain IPC and the US International Open Music Competition.

Her talent has led her to perform as a solo pianist in some of the world’s most celebrated venues, including Weill Recital Hall at Carnegie Hall (New York), Kaiser Wilhelm Memorial Church Hall (Berlin), and the Gläserner Saal at the Musikverein (Vienna). With her dedication and love for music, Elsie continues to captivate audiences with her expressive performances and artistry.

Stephanie Xu was born on Nov 3rd, 2014 in Chengdu, China. At age of 3, she started her basic music education at Shanghai Kite Music Studio and her ballet training at Shanghai Little Star Art Academy. At age 6, Stephanie started her piano training, first with Dr. Kyungsin Kim and then following Dr. Qian Yin until now.

In 2023, Stephanie was awarded the First Prize at 2023 New York Golden Classical Music Award; and she has also won the First Prize at 2024 Vienna Grand Prize Virtuoso Competition in the same year.

Besides her piano and dancing enthusiasm, Stephanie is also a Level 5 rhythmic dynamist and White Belt III BJJ student. She loves reading books from comedy to fairy tales, from mythology to explorations. Stephanie loves to make friends and recently the new family member, our 2 1/2 year old brother becomes her new playmate.

Stephanie is studying in Open Window School in her 4th grade.
